Happy fall! The leaves in Colorado are changing and that means water ramping is coming to a close. I got in a few last minute sessions with Ski and Snowboard Club Vail at the water ramps in Steamboat, and the water was absolutely freezing. One day, it was pouring rain and 38 degrees! Despite the weather, the training was still productive as I was working on perfecting my competition tricks for the season.
In addition to water ramping, I have been training on the trampoline at the aerial facility in my school (Vail Ski and Snowboard Academy), and working out in the gym at the Minturn Fitness Center. Since I am still a senior in high school, I train with Ski and Snowboard Club Vail part time. I'm grateful to have these resources at home to maintain a high intensity training when I'm not able to work with the US Ski Team in Park City.
Tomorrow I fly out to New York to spend a week on the East coast visiting colleges and family. Thanks for all of your support! Please consider donating to my online PayPal (click the 'Support Tess' button). As the competition season approaches, my skiing expenses are building up and every bit of support helps immensely! Thanks. :)
