First Day of Senior Year...

Hello!

Although today marks my first day of my senior year of high school back in Vail, I'm currently in Jindabyne, Australia for a camp with the US Ski Team at Perisher Resort.

After four days of skiing, we have already seen rain, snow, wind, and sun. The conditions are great (almost as good as Colorado) and thanks to the Australian coaching staff, the course is epic and making for really good training.

I am skiing with a brace on my left hand to protect my ring finger, and although it is challenging to hold my pole sometimes, it's keeping it safe. If you look closely in the video you can see I'm wearing two different gloves; the black mitten is covering my brace.

After the first few days of getting to know the course and working on technique in the moguls, I'm starting to jump more in preparation for training my competition run. Here is a quick video of my skiing with just straight air jumps. Keep an eye out for more video with higher difficulty tricks.

All smiles.

I'm having a lot of fun down under; thank you for all the encouragement!
